Terrible draw for the SCOL...4 teams clustered in the same Sectional Semi-Final (Washington C.H., Miami Trace, Hillsboro & Greenfield McClain). Only one team from the SCOL will go to Athens this year.

Jesus Christ...don't tell me all those SE District numb-nuts are still rubbing each other off over on JJ. Maybe the rest of the state is right about the collective IQ of the folks below the Lancaster/Dixon line...?

I have seen hardly any games this year only one or two of WCH and being a WCH fan I voted for them.

If the Warriors get the same officaals they had lastnight LE will be in big trouble. They shot 15-22 at the line compared to 1-2 for their opp. Very physical and the visitors were taking it the basket.

Doug Stiverson is a helluva coach. So is Warren's Blane Maddox. Would be another great night.

Warren plays 18-1 Athens on Friday. Should be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Logam Elm should have no trouble with New Lex tonight. New Lex hasn't been good in basketball since Jesse Duperow roamed the halls in the late 90's

WCH escaped a spirited effort from Miami Trace & Hillsboro defeated McClain.

McClain was up by 9 at the half, then decided that was enough and stopped competing. I think Hillsboro ended up winning by 10 or 12 after all the free-throws in the last 1:00. Steagall & Coates were just simply more aggressive for the Indians. Coach Davis hit the nail on the head talking about "energy level" and how it affected the outcome of the previous two matchups. I told my brother at the half McClain should trap &/or press to start the 3rd...step on Hillsboro's neck, so to speak. Nope...they played elephant ball and Hillsbro brought the pressure instead.

Anyway, the finals of the SCOL tournament are Saturday night @ Ross SE High School...WCH vs. Hillsboro.

Chillicothe loses to Waverly by 2...!
