also, the bills and patriots lost. Current AFC East Standings:

Patriots 6-3
Dolphins 4-5 (own the tie breaker over the Jets and Bills at the moment)
Jets 4-5
Bills 3-6

I don't wanna break down every team, so I'll break down my favorite.

The Dolphins are heading into a TOUGH final 7. Honestly only 3 of those games do I look at now and say, we're playing better than that team. Those teams are the bills, the texans and the Steelers. I would venture to say that by the time we get to Houston and P-burg they will have fixed the issues that they have now, but if they don't the Dolphins could be looking at a 6-10 season. While that doesn't surprise me, the Dolphins were really hoping to make a run again this year. I still say this team is 2 years away from being a PLAYOFF contender and I don't see enough improvement over last years team to say that they'll compete for a Super Bowl, with any degree of certainty for at least 5 years.

I'm not sure the AFC East is as Beastly as we thought, but there are some promising things going on. the Jets and Dolphins are trying to develop young QBs (the dolphins decided to do it with NO WR's to help him) and the Pats are the Pats, just older and IMO are cresting the mountain and will begin the slide to mediocrity where they belong in the next 3-5 years.

The Pats are the only AFCE team with a shot at the playoffs this year. The Jets or Dolphins would have to to finish the season 5-1 to have a shot and neither team will be able to have a run like that.

It is starting to feel like at least 5 of the 6 playoff teams are already established in the EC.

Colts
Pats
Bengals
Steelers
Chargers (yeah, Im aware Denver is in first place)

The last spot looks like it will come down to Broncos or Ravens. Just dont have faith in the Texans, Jags, or Dolphins. Jets are toast.

I agree Laley. The Jags have an easy schedule though I give them the nod over Baltimore and Denver. I'm surprised the Denver collapse has been so sudden, I really hope they win that division because of the way SD treated Schottenheimer.

I could see the Jags sneaking in because they have an easy schedule. The issue I have is that because I dont think they are very good either they will lose some games vs that schedule. I think Houston is a better team, but they have a little bit tougher of a road. At least I think so, I havent looked at either schedule in about a month.
