He was a big time recruit out of the Kansas JUCO scene. He gained around 400 yards in 03 and promptly transfered to Southern Illinois.

While Arkansas didn't have a marquee QB, their 2007 RB/FB trio of Darren McFadden, Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis is tough to beat ... all three have started for NFL teams the past two years.

Auburn by far? LMAO

USC in a landslide. 2 Heisman winners and another back that would have been #1 pretty much anywhere in the country, end of discussion.

It has to be Auburn by far. I mean, the team went undefeated... all three are basically starters in the NFL. If you look at what they have done (in the NFL by numbers),

Jason Campbell 1,002 of 1,637 for 10,860 and 55 TDs (38 INTs)
vs.
Matt Leinart 340 of 595 for 3,893 yards and 14 TDs (20 INTs)

Ronnie Brown 928 carries for 4,081 yards and 31 TDs
vs
LenDale White 628 carries for 2,349 yards and 24 TD

Cadillac Williams 842 carries for 3,238 yards and 18 TDs
vs
Reggie Bush 488 carries for 1,940 yards and 17 TDs

it's hands down, large and away, the 2003 Auburn backfield.

maybe in college they win, but the only one of them who contribute anything in the nfl is bush. and not very much. 3rd string rb and returner.

I'll take Auburn, then OSU, Arkansas then USC.
Not impressed with Bush or Leinart, I feel both are very overrated.

OSU? Even with out a great QB Arkansas was better.

That said, Auburn is a clear winner.

Thanks for adding to the list. Dont know how anyone could forget about these guys.

But, Auburn by far. And also the most ripped off undefeated team ever.

Again, how is it Auburn by far? USC had 2 Heisman winners. WTF does this have to do with the NFL? Especially since it's on the college football forum.

Based on that criteria, it's Mt Union 2008.
