After taking off 3 1/2 weeks for mediacal reasons, UConn's Jim Calhoun resumed his duties as the head coach of the UConn Huskies on Thursday.
Calhoun said, " I started with this team and I want to finish with this team in the sense that we started something together."
He refused to commit to coaching beyond this year, even though he still has a strong desire to coach basketball. He also refused comment about the nature of his medical condition, but did say it was not cancer or cardiac related.

Some coaches choose to finsih what they start, with no regard for their personal win-loss record.

No "Welcome Back" present for Jim Calhoun. The Huskies can't shoot straight . They go 3/17 behind the arc as they lost at home to Cinci. Good win for the Bearcats resume. They have already defeated Vandy and Maryland, so the sweep of UConn keeps them in the tournament conversation.
