Luckily it doesn't sound like it's anything that is going to shorten his life or anything since he's being treated. So I reckon that's a good thing.

If it's not life threatening espn is going way over the top with it. I thought he was dead for a while because they said "tragic news about Kareem Abdul jabbar. After the breAk. "

Luckily he's in a position financially to be able to get the best treatment for this....Hopefully Sweet Lew will be ok!

I don't care for the Lakers but I have great respect for Kareem. A wonderful player and a fine man. I wish him the very best in his battle.
