The conversation game up on another thread about the regional final game for Region 18 being played on a grass field. This got me to thinking, What games were played on grass during the second round?

Difficult to understand the thinking on some of their choices.

St. Henry - West Liberty Salem at Piqua which I believe is a grass field.

The TV highlights of the St Henry game last Friday did not show a very good grass field. It may have been better in person but the newscast I watched made it appear to be very bare down the middle like most natural fields this time of year.

Piqua's field was in pretty bad shape. With a little rain, it'd be a complete mud hole. It was pretty much bare ground between the hashes around the 35 yard line on each end.
