Former Texas Rep. Charlie Wilson, most famous for the book and movie "Charlie Wilson's War" died today.
I've read the book and saw the movie, and really respected the former Rep.
RIP Charlie.

RIP Mr. Wilson. His mission in supporting the Mujahadeen is just another sad chapter of how entangling alliances overseas, and in particulat, that part of the world, can backfire so badly.
Not too many people know that bin Ladin fought for the Mujahedeen.

He knew the key to Middle East peace...show them the virtues of mixing Booze and Women. Recipe for success right there.
