Let's go Boilermakers! With a win, five teams will have three losses at the top of the Big Ten standings. The game is in progress on ESPN.

^^Illinois' win over Wisconsin was big tonight, particularly for the Buckeyes. Had Wisconsin won, they would probably be in the best position to win the conference because the Buckeyes still play Illinois twice, MSU, and Purdue. Wisconsin finishes the regular season with a much softer schedule than OSU. Irregardless, still a very big game tonight and if Purdue can win, it will be a real tossup for the regular season champion.

Gee whaddya know Hubert Davis...Another analyst who thinks that the big ten doesnt have a single team that can make a tourny run.

They said the last thing last year about MSU and the big ten always has a team that makes a run in the tourny.

Huge 3 by Hummel as time expires in the first half. Love to see the MSU crowd get excited about a 3-point play by Lucas, only to see them completely silenced by Hummel the next play.

Until Lucas is back at full power, the losses will not come as a surprise. Unfortunate for MSU.

I'll take you on that claim, Laley. Maybe for different reasons, but Purdue is on my "most hated teams to watch" list. Along with Pitt, Notre Dame, USC, Alabama and Oklahoma. For some reason, I'd rather watch Slam Ball with Tom Tolbert than sit down and watch those teams play. I don't know what it is, but no matter how good those teams might be on a given year, they bore me. They're like sleeping medication.

Wow! I hope Purdue doesn't choke another double digit lead.

Here comes Sparty. You had to know they wouldn't make it that easy. Especially at home. Especially after losing 2 straight.

Yes. Least favorite college player. One of the most overrated defenders in the country/B10.

That's the 2nd time tonight Musberger has tried to tout Bruce Weber as national coach of the year.

Is he kidding?

If they somehow win the Big Ten he may have a good arguement, but anything short of that no.

I could have gone without all the ticky-tack fouls last night but it went both ways, so I guess it's cool. Purdue did a nice job rebounding and executing their offensive sets. They hit some big shots all night.
