I have to mock up some missiles for my work in google sketchup and was wondering if any huddlers have an experience with the software?

Any advise or tips for a novice user? I'd pretty much be dealing with cylinders, so any info of that aspect would be awesome.

I've taken the intro course, but any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

For those who don't know, google sketchup is a 3D design software that allows the user to create shapes, buildings, anything really. It is really cool.

I had to use it once and was having a hard time getting it to look good so first, I tried altering ones I downloaded off of the internet similar to my project. Then, I just gave up and found a guy on craigslist. It was for a business plan so I didn't have to worry about cheating or anything.

It does take time getting used to, but the learning curve is pretty quick. I was playing around designing a house and it wasn't half bad. Drawing cylinders would be pretty easy.
