Has anyone attended this in the past? It's the one put on by the Columbus Cobras. I am curious if anyone can list the names of colleges that have attended or will attend this year.

I believe 26 schools were there last year. MAC, Horizon Lg, Ohio NAIA's, Ohio DII's and others attended. Ed Santa from the Rockies runs the showcase.

My son participated in this last year. I want to say Xavier, UC, and maybe Oakland (MI) and a MLB scout or two was there as well as the ones mentioned by nothingnice2say. It was run a lot like a MLB tryout, 60's, OF Fielding/throwing, INF fielding/throwing, Catchers pop times, hitting in the cages, followed by an nine inning game.

Ott, yes 2011's and unsigned 2010's. Players from the teams playing in the tournament get the first opportunity to sign up. 60 players max. At least the way it has been done in the past.
