Who has had to dig out potty trails for their dog. Our dog does her business in the same grass areas out of our front door. I shovel out a little more each time I take her out, now it looks like a maize in our front yard.

Havent done that, but I've had to actually pick mine up and carry her in on a few occasions. The frozen snow was hurting her pads. She walked up to me and put her head on top of my foot as if she could go no further....she can be pathetic at times, but it was cute.

We've got about a 40' long leash that comes up to the patio. She can make an 80' circle so she can usually find an open spot in the yard. I still have to step onto the patio to let her out. She tends to take off if she's not leashed. The other morning we had a huge drift right up to the back step. I just let her out....she jumped right thru the drift to get out, but didn't really want to come back in. She hates the cold so she finally just kind of trudged thru it.

Open the back door and the two Golden run out..( to the kennel at the side of the shed) ..do their thing and then play in the yard ...........getting them back into the house is a problem they love the snow

note: sometimes they do forget to poo in the kennels when they are playing

I've just had to "redrocket" the ones I've had in the past.

I have to with my little yorkie..the snow was taller than her lol. So I shoved a little area off the back of our deck so she could do her business there.

My sheltie would still be holding it in had I not shoveled a path for her. In her smaller days she could walk on top of a good crust of frozen snow....not anymore.

My dad has my dog, a beagle, and after this weekends snow he didn't even want to go outside. He woke up in the morning and went right to the couch to sleep more. I guess the night before he went out and came in full of snow. My dad had to shovel a path for him so he could do his business.

The snow was twice as high as our dog stands, so he couldn't get past the step until we ran the snowblower. Now he has the whole perimeter of the driveway and the 3 foot high snow drifts to lift his leg on.

My Boxer will only walk on a shoveled area. So he keeps peeing on the sidewalk and the front porch
