When CBS ran numerous stories pregame interviewing people of the lower 9th district in New Orleans. Thousands of them that lost their houses are still without homes. Saw a block where the rubblle of destructed homes was still there even.

Yea it's horrible. My friend did work down there in December and she said it's still a mess. I saw pictures she took and everything, it made me want to go down there and help.

If you have the time, you should go down and help. It's an eye opening experience, for sure.

I'm not sure what you are getting at here? That Haiti is not a worthy cause? That it is 'better' to give to New Orleans? There are people suffering even in the state/county/city you live in. I'll not criticize anyone for where they choose to do their good works.
