Comcast is rockin despite the 30+ inches of snow on the ground.

Deon Thompson has brought his game early, hitting a couple nice jumpers.

I think Carolina is poised for a big win today. Jordan Williams may be a key for Maryland. They need him to rebound and to keep Davis and Thompson in check.

Greivis with a big three early. Still no shimmy yet, though. Hopefully soon. The Terrapins look to be shooting well today.

I probably all but murdered Maryland's chance at winning now that I've posted here.

Hayes can really splash it. Two triples for him thus far. 8-2 run, Terrapins.

If David Wear is shooting for the Heels I like Maryland's chances. Crazy how he has become one of the more consistent options for Roy.

This reminds me of one of those Duke games from 99 where they would go on 40-10 runs hitting 10 first half threes.

Maryland, yikes.

Maryland taking it to Roy early.

Maybe I should post on these threads more often.

Greivis with another big three. He has 14 points at the half.

Maryland up 10.

I have never said this during my life of watching Carolina basketball, but it is almost unbearable to watch this team play.

At least with the 8-20 we had players who could do something, this team does not. No leadership from any player, it's sick.

Yeah but Will Graves was head bobbing in the Georgia Tech game and a couple others. If he's not a leader, I'm not sure we have leaders in the country.

Carolina isn't playing that poorly. Not sure what game you are watching. Defensively they have lost track of shooters, but they aren't turning it over with anywhere near the ferocity they did against Wake, GT

As I type, they turn it over.

Maryland is shooting the lights out, surely they won't keep this up.

If they get hot for a couple games in Greensboro, this Maryland team could be the first non-Duke or Carolina club to win the conference since '04, when Maryland did it.

Vasquez, though sometimes a player who can get over excited and make mistakes, is a very talented scorer and creator and Hayes is one of the best shooters in the nation. Dangerous backcourt when hitting.

Greivis with another triple. He has 23 and 8 assists. My favorite non-Duke player by far.

He simply knows how to destroy Carolina.

Greivis hits another triple to make it 77-59.

Carolina will be heading into the Duke game wounded. It will be the Blue Devils' job to complete the murder and bury the body in the NIT (or maybe worse). Hopefully we're up for the task.

88-65, Maryland.

Roy, do you still have more passion in your little darned pinky finger than all Carolina fans combined? You look lost, yo.

Unbelievable this NC team beat OSU. Evan Turner would have helped but still is amazing how this NC team is fading fast.

Turner scored like 29 points or something in that game. OSU still got rocked.

Neither team is going far in the NCAAs, but that's mainly because one of them isn't even making it. At this point, Carolina better start winning to assure NIT seeding.

Vasquez finishes with 26 points and 11 assists, in another great game against what has become his favorite team.

Yes he is.

1 down year doesn't hurt a career reputation.

UNC is struggling this year. They may not make the tourny, but he still has 2 titles in 4 years and a great recruiting class coming in next season. We'll be ok, I would assume.

For once, get your facts straight.

OSU lost to UNC by a score of 77-73. It was a 2 point game with under 1 minute to play. Evan Turner scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in that game.

That game was also a blowout until UNC pissed down their leg. So yeah you can think it was only a 4 point game, but it wasn't.

And if they played again tomorrow it would be a totally different game with the way both teams are playing right now.
