I am very fortunate in that, anywhere I've lived, I've had, at worst, solid neighbors.

The ones I have right now are great. I live next to 2 girls, and they're considerate, fun, and pretty cool to chill with. I always feel like if you have a neighbor you can chill with when you're snowed in, bored, or plans fall through, that's a major bonus. And I think it's great because we're from such different backgrounds, as they're very somewhat stereotypical suburb girls, right down to their designer bags and tiny dog, and I'm (while not stereotypical) very much from a part of Columbus that they probably would never set foot in. (Though, on their part, that's mostly surface, there's much more to them than that, but an outside observer would no doubt notice that first.)

It's like a John Hughes movie. I enjoy our relationship, we've never had any issues...I mean, they listen to bad music really loudly sometimes, but they always turn it down after 11 or so, so really, I can't complain.

You?

I have a bunch of international students in my building that cook weird foods that smell bad and make a lot of noise on the weekends(who though Asians had time to have fun when most of their parents threaten to kill them if they don't have straight A's)... but I guess I'm ok with it

To the right...the chic is pretty hot but her husband doesn't seem to like me although we've never spoken. She's pretty friendly though.
To the left... she's fat and he's fat and they have fat kids but they're pretty friendly.

Luckily..the hoodrats have moved on...the old neighbors on the right, married couple with 6 kids..the neighborhood hoodlums were always at there house. At least 10 kids at there house causing a ruckus all the time. Kids would ride bikes through my yard..put a hole in my siding, caught my privacy fence on fire playing with matches, their dog (bull mastiff) busted panels of my fence about 4 times trying to get in my yard to my dogs. They fixed it the first time..after they..they would just let it go. I ended up having to repair it. The dog made it through once. Let's just say..he never tried to do it again. They were good people though. Just very inconsiderate.

Ones on the left...college kids. Were always outside partying into the early hours of the morning. Normally..I wouldn't care..but when my 8 year olds window was right above their 'party spot', then I got a little pissed. We had many discussions about that. Last straw came when they started letting fireworks off at 4am..right by his window..on a Wednesday...in MAY. It got a little heated that night.

Neighbors I have now are great. Never have had any issues with them. Talk with them quite often too. Very friendly people.

Yes, very much. Unfortunately we may lose one due to job loss (Engineer). Last night we had an impromptu bash at our house. Tonight, we are going to do the obligatory monthly winter campfire in the backyard. What better time to do it than with a 10-12" snowfall on the ground.( and plenty of adult beverages on hand)

Yes, except two of them have a bunch of junk sitting in their yards. Other than that, I like my neighbors.

Love 'em. Would do almost anything for them. We're kind of spread out though.

There's a good distance between us all but directly to the west is an attorney and his wife is a dentist. Great people. To the east is an owner of an electrical contracting company. Very giving and generous guy. Across the way is prof from the College and behind us are...well, Canadians.

The couple to the right of us is pretty cool. Both are really nice, and keep to themselves most of the time.

There's two girls that live to the left. Hardly ever see them. They both work nights, so they aren't out much during the day. They have two tiny dogs that they let out into the backyard and the dogs bark like crazy. I'm used to it though now and it doesn't phase me.

There's a really cool redneck across the street from me. Whenever he sees me outside he yells for me to come over for a beer. Really nice guy, and a real handyman...which is a bonus because I can't fix a damn thing if it breaks.

I changed my mind.. he is a douchebag. When the city comes thru our allotment, they only make one pass, so there is only one open lane.
He decided it's a good idea to back his truck outta the driveway and into the street to get his snow blower out.. however, he thinks its a good idea to leeave his truck parked in the one cleared lane of the street instead of pulling it back in the garage. So, if you want to get around him, you will drive in the 15 inches of snow we got last night. Inconsiderate asshole.
