Having seen both teams play this year, I am withholding my comments. From the outside, this looks to be a great game.

The Kettering Alter defense is riding a three game shut-out streak, (CJ 21-0, J. Alder 42-0, Carlisle 41-0). This should be a really good game.

I have to go with my Falcons but I think this will be a tough game for both teams. This will definetly be a smash mouth, slobernocker of a game! I do think that whichever team wins next saturday should be the favorite for the state title!

I agree with all the adjectives. That is how both teams play. There will be huge passion in this game. If you live anywhere near Dayton, this is the game to show up to see. I can't jump to 'favorite for state title yet' too many good teams out there to call anyone a favorite yet.

I have to agree with you bcubed, which team wins this should win the State!! I know with ALTER Winning the State last year, they are probably favored to win, But, I Believe This Massie Team Can Give the Upset!! If Massie Plays Massie Football, with No Turnovers, KA will be shocked at the outcome!! Keep Rolling Falcons One Play At a Time!! Good Luck from this ALDER Fan!!

This game has the makings of a REALLY great game. If you love HS football and you're in the area, make your way to Centerville stadium Saturday night. Lot's of clubs/bars along 725/Miamisburg-Centerville road to hit up after the game.

Places to hang out...On the way from Massie...Beef O'Bradys at corner of route 48 and spring valley road...Family atmosphere, good food, cold brew, lots of screens.

I'd like to see both teams win. The Cavs have good feelings toward both teams.

Good luck to both teams and may the winner take it all.

I am gonna go with Alter but as a fan of another team in the S.C.O.L. (Washington C. H.) I'd like to see Massie win.

Do all you guys in Coldwater just wake up being nice??? How can we ever thank you enough for all the support and kind words during our season? You know we think the world of you-just keep up the winning ways and maybe we can all meet at the Finals. Best to you and all the gang!

Not that it matters yet, but I've heard some information this week about where the winner of this game will be playing next week. If Ironton wins, the winner of the Alter-Massie game will play them at Jackson's Alumni Stadium. If Coschocton wins, then the game will be at Hamilton Township.

This may not be set in stone, but it's the information that was given to Jackson's AD by an OHSAA representative.

Good luck to both stellar programs and may the best team win!
Should be a great game and hopefully an injury free game!
Congratulations to both teams for avoiding upsets and making it this far!

Best of Luck to both teams from C-town, sounds like this should be a great game.
We have another MAC battle this weekend, so all have lots of work do.
Play hard and enjoy!

I'm a student at an SCOL school (Miami Trace), but I could never find myself rooting for Clinton-Massie (unless they're playing Washington). Otherwise, absolutley never. Even if I did, I'd still think they'd lose by at least 6 touchdowns.

I am curious to how many of the current players at Alter have been in the system from grade school up and how many are transfers. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
