Just read that there are rumors that Slash will Headline the 2nd stage and then play a couple songs with Ozzy

tix will have to be a fortune to get metallica and Van Halen/JP?ACDC on the lineup.

Hetfield said in an interview that the band would take a huge paycut to tour with Ozzy one last time
VH,AC/DC,and JP would only be on 1 or 2 shows each max,most likely in bigger cities(LA,Miami,Chicago,New York)

i see, i thought you meant each would tour for 1/3 of the dates. that makes more sense, they will prob offer VIP packages in the big cities to get the extra cash.

if its ran how it used to be, all second stage bands pay 75-80,000 to PLAY ozzfest, then the mainstagers get to play for free and just make money off the shirts and whatnot.

Not bad....but it was even cooler years ago when Slipknot was still unknown and played on the second stage.

I thought Slipknot was done for a while? I know Corey is doing Stone Sour right now and then after that, he's got solo stuff that he's been excited about for the longest time.

I'm going to be the first one to call TOTAL BULLSHIT on this lineup. For starter's Rob Zombie is allready confirmed to be on Mayhem Festival this summer. Secondly I see the annual AC/DC to play ozzfest rumor has cropped up though! In a couple week's the annual "Led Zepplin to reunite for Ozzfest" rumor ought to be cropping up.gibby08 wrote: Main Stage

Some names that are much more likely for Ozzfest would be Priest, Rammstien, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Bodom, Devildriver, Hell No, Stone Sour, Sevendust.
