This kid must really be something. Here is an article from CBS about him last February

http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/11375455

Before you get on Kiffin, UCLA sent a questionnaire to him prior to this time last year.

Interesting note: It says Chris Leak got offered in 8th grade by Wake Forest. That was almost a decade ago so this is nothing new I guess. Still feels wrong though

I don't see what the problem with it is, other than the fact that there's no way of knowing whether it will pan out.

Wonder if he stops growing and ends up being 5'8" and 150. Will he still go to USC or play soccer at Otterbein?

This seems so ridiculous. I can see staying in contact just in case the kid pans out to be the best in the country . . . but to offer this early? I don't even know if this is legal. Maybe this is why Lane Kiffin has had the opportunity to coach in the NFL and for two of the biggest college football programs in the country. . . and I'm in school still. hahaha

How long until people are getting on Tressel for not only not being able to close late but also failing to open early enough? hahahaha

I don't think it's absolutely ridiculous. If it wasn't done previously with Leak and James Berry (Eric Berrys little bro), then I'd say its absurd because there's no precedent, but there's precedent here.

The kid may be at USC in 2015, I doubt Kiffen will be.

This is shaping up to be a good class for Kiffin.

The Leak incident was over 10 years ago... And James Berry was by Kiffin.

I wouldn't really consider that precedent to make it acceptable.

Fly,

I never said it was acceptable, I just said it wasn't absolutely ridiculous, on the grounds that it's happened before. Even if you throw Evan Berry (I looked it up, James is the dad), it still happened with Leak, so yes, there's precedence.

Goofball Lane Kiffin is still trying to get publicity for unfounded "commitments".

He did it at Tennessee and now that he's at USC he is at it again.

Kiffen will be long gone from USC by the time that kid gets ready to really commit somewhere.
