Haven't seen his name in the box scores lately. He's a senior and was having what looked to be a good season. Is he injured? Still on the team? Just wondering. I was hoping to see him one more time before he graduated from Ross.

Coach Gedeon is a man of great integrity. I imagine that it was a difficult decision but Coach Gedeon has my respect. He runs a first class program and can be counted on to do the right thing for the team and for the individual athlete.

Young Mr. Penn along with two other players are no longer on the Little Giant roster. A team that could have won 12-14 games this year is currently 3-11 and will struggle to win 5 games. Coach G. has brought up some of the Freshmen to play varsity and while the rest of this season is going to be very tough, the experience gained along with a Freshman team that is currently 16-2 may bode well for the future.

The Little Giants need to get themselves ready for that jump to the City League. It's going to be a whole new ballgame.

Not sure what "fine" means but Ross will generally be better than 3 or 4 teams in the Toledo City League year in and year out.

There are more sports than just basketball.

Yes this is true. Ross will be fine in the Toledo City League.

Now to be fair, we've never been a big basketball power and probably never will be so in that sport we will take our lumps in the TCL most years.

You are correct which is why I took the time to clarify my point.

I watched Ross' freshman team play and they have talent to burn. The only problem is that it seems this is the deepest freshman class in the area since the class of 95' (ranked top 10 by Street & Smith in terms of 'metro areas' for talent - Coleman, Howard, Tate, Washington, Johnson, etc...).

Keith, do most of those athletes on the freshman hardwood play football as well? If so, coach Kidwell has something to be happy about.
