Two things.
1. It was a slip, but better to be cautious than not care.
2. The guy is an R, not a D, fail on your part.

I am aware of the Ray LaHood participation in the Clinton impeachment process.ptown_trojans_1 wrote:That means he was in charge of impeaching Clinton, not the other way around. :rolleyes:Belly35 wrote:ptown_trojans_1 wrote: Two things.

Obama likes to keep his friends close but his enemies’ friend closer………. so goes that appointment to Transportation Secretary.
I know how you like to divert from the post or topic but try real hard and comment on the thread

I am sure when Toyota drivers heard Lahood's intitial comments on the radio as they were driving down, they immediatley pulled over, got out of the care and ran for their lives. He is just trying to show he has got the bull by the horns. I know I feel better now.
From one of the quoted articles:
From one of the quoted articles:
.Toyota's most recent recall in the United States affects 2.3 million vehicles with the potential for sticking gas pedals
This isn't a good combination. Gas pedal sticks and your brakes don't work. Now Toyota Motor Corp. has been hit by over 100 complaints in the U.S. and Japan about brake problems with the popular Prius hybrid

I've heard stories that not only does the accelerator stick, but when your moving along and this happens, you can't move the gear shift out of drive into neutral to stop the acceleration. It physically won't move.

If all three of these things happens at once, I guess your screwed. But if your driving a Prius you can die knowing you were doing your part to stop global warming.

No. Some drive them with the thought they are decreasing our dependancy of fossil fuels.Footwedge wrote:Do you think only liberals drive Priuses?majorspark wrote: If all three of these things happens at once, I guess your screwed. How is this Foot?
If all three of these things happens at once, I guess your screwed. But if your driving a Prius you can die knowing you were doing your part to decrease America's dependence on foreign oil.
Also, do you think only liberals subscribe to man made global warming?

I wonder if the BHO Administration is thinking about introducing a "Cash for Toyotas" program?

How about a Cash for Gaffes program?
I don't care about LaHood's past -- he's now a member of THIS group of children. And like many of his classmates of late, he stuck his foot in his big, fat mouth.

True. Maybe BHO should put LaHood, Biden, and Emanuel in charge of the details or would there be a conflict of interest?Writerbuckeye wrote: How about a Cash for Gaffes program?
