With this sectional being a pretty tough sectional and 4 of the top 5 teams in the central district there should be some great wrestling. What all individuals should be dangerous or should at least get out to districts?

My humble predictions/observations -

Prather 140???? I don't think so. Way too big.

Barlow over Gualtieri. Both quality kids, wish I could see that one.

Wheeler stands out to me at 130.

Branham stands out at 119. (I can't believe he makes 119 ....... He wrestled at 130 LAST YEAR at the MSL Tournament - impressive cut)

Drumm grabs the top spot at 189 if he wrestles like he is capable of.

145 will not finish like the rankings list shows.

Would like to watch a Robinson/Martello match-up. Good stuff.

Just was thinking that maybe one of them would prefer to be a #1 at Heath at 152, rather than qualifying as a #4 seed at 145 and drawing a hammer at Heath right off the bat......

I have a feeling that vanhorn from Amanda can make some noise If he performs as he has been in past two weeks @ 152 he is strong but gets sloppy against high intensity wrestlers but anything can happen

Heath's McDaniel is solid at 145 or 152.

I was just curious.
- I don't think Carter (northridge) is from johnstown northridge. I could be wrong, but i think there is either another northridge, or the school is wrong

At 112, Ohl (Newark Catholic) won the Licking County Tournament at that weight class and should have a good shot to get out. Wheeler (Utica) should be the favorite at 130. Barlow - Gualtieri will be a heck of a match at 135. Also another match-up that should be good is Robinson (Heath) - Nelson (Newark Catholic) at 145. These guys wrestled once this year and ended up with a Robinson W 5-3 in ot. 145 is probably the best weight class at this sectional. 189 should be a tough weight class also with Drumm (Heath) and Beatty (Ready) both performing well this season.

Will Prather make 140? Or is this Branham playing games with everyone with the latest Dispatch Rankings?

Beatty might push 171 to the second toughest, Garber (Newark Catholic), Beatty (Ready), Langermeier (West Jefferson) 3 very tough guys in there.

Will Cochran make 160? I've heard he is having trouble maintaing weight at 171. If the case is Cochran at 171, Does Beatty or Garber make a run for first place or is it a battle for 2nd?

Don't count out Conrad from Ridgewood at 171. He's solid.

Don't Forget about Corns at 135, he will be tough to beat once he get past he shoulder issue, JJ Tipton, will force the 140 weight to step it up if they want to go to district. Wilson, should easily dominate the 160 weight class. Amanda Clearcreek should be sending 5 2009 district qualifiers, Corns, Gierhart, Van Horn, Wilson, Cheteneski and two state qualifers Kaleb Miller and Garren Dilley. Every district qualifers should be going except Pinkstock, he can't seemed to get past Van Horn or Gierhart.

I was just told this morning that he hurt his leg again. I don't know if it's true. So if I'm wrong, please correct me.

If Cochran does stay at 171 I can see it being a battle for 2nd between Garber and Beatty. I think Cochran will be the 1 seed in that scenario pushing Garber and Beatty as the 2 and 3 seeds. Conrad (Ridgewood), what's his record like this season? I've not heard much about him, was Ridgewood at Coshocton this year? I unfortunately had to miss that tournament. He may be the favorite for the remaining district spot.

I thought Cochran has already wrestled @160 a couple of weeks already.
