Where will it be played? Peden Stadium at Ohio University maybe? Lancaster? Zanesville?
The last time these two met in the playoff's I believe it was played in Peden Stadium.

Did'nt these two play at Groveport last time. May be wrong though. I think OU is at home Saturday but not positive. Hard to tell where they will play this one. Zanesville would be a ton further for Ironton. Not that it ever stops the OHSAA. Guess we'll find out soon enough. Don't know much yet about this Coshocton team but I expect it will be a very close good game.

^^^You could be right. I guess I'm thinking of the 1987 game these two played in Peden Stadium.
OU does have a home game this Saturday at 2 against Northern Illinois.
This one has to be Lancaster or Zanesville. Maybe Groveport again?

I got to give Ironton the edge in this one. I know they've played Bellaire tuff, to the bitter end. Or in their last game, 3 times to the end!
Good luck to both teams. Too bad it can't be at Peden stadium, that's a great facility.

That's going to be tough with Ironton as the visiting team. Those bleachers aren't going to hold the fans.NYBuckeye96 wrote: This game will be played at Dave Boston Field at Nelsonville-York High School in Nelsonville.

Not according to the brackets. http://ohsaa.org/sports/ft/boys/2009/d4regbrkt.pdf Coshocton is the top team, thus the home team.

I guess the higher seed is no longer the home team in the regional finals. I thought this was the case.

The top team is always the home seed.
I still cannot believe COshocton beat AC.

Coshocton is only in the top slot because they beat the #1 seed. Ironton is still the top seed as they were second in the region.
Also there are times when OHSAA makes the ruling for the lower seed to have the home side of the stands.
I.E 2007 Westfall v Coldwater they put Coldwater on the hoomeside saying the the week before they sold more tickets to the game.

I am guessing the coaching staff did an OK job last week. This is where some genius says if we have no penalties,no turnovers, and don't allow a pass reception we may be able to beat Ironton.
