Did anyone happen to get this game yet? I just beat it and I loved it. This might end up as one of the greatest video game series' ever.

I personally think the playability of it sucks ass, the first one, anyway. Totally turned off from #2.

haha good catch... Tusky I thought that there were some major problems with the first one as well but I enjoyed the story enough to get the second one. A lot of the problems with the first game are gone, there is a lot more focus on fighting in this game. Almost every side quest involved pretty big firefights, and they have seriously improved the gameplay in combat. The main difference in the sequel that I found is that there is a lot less down time and a lot more action, which is what turned a lot of people off the first game. I'm not trying to say that Mass Effect 2 is anywhere close as action packed as Halo or Modern Warfare but I do recommend giving it a try as it is far and away a much better game than the first game.

Best part is no more hour long elevator rides.

The first one was horrible. No desire to play the second.
