While shopping at Kroger for the impending snowstorm, I noticed that they don't sell bubble gum anymore at the counter, the days of begging your mom (or grandparents) for instant sugar apparently are gone. A pity. Back in the day bubble gum was a way of life, and had incredibly awesome Saturday morning cartoon commercials.

Awesome...........the days of the 5cent candy jars sitting on the counter!! I came here to post I never really chewed gum but the Bazooka reminded me I did.

I always enjoyed Big Red gum because it always recruited the candy around it, thereby giving you more for the money.
