Glad Deron Williams finally got in.

Can't believe the Cavs only got one guy again. Just proves how good Lebron really is.

Who knows how Mo Williams injury played into this though.

Gerald Wallace has been pretty good for years, finally the Bobcats are getting better which is what helped him get in...

Who got the biggest shaft being left out? I'd say Monta Ellis has an argument but I don't know who I'd put him in for, just a cluster fuck of good players.

I'd go with David Lee

SQ, the matchup of the starters is really close imo.

PG- Steve Nash vs Allen Iverson
SG- Kobe Bryant vs Dwyane Wade
SF- Carmelo Anthony vs LeBron James
PF- Tim Duncan vs Kevin Garnett
C- Amare Stoudemire vs Dwight Howard

Gasol 17.6, 11, 1.7 blocks
Kaman 20.2, 9.1, 1.3 blocks

What puts Gasol over the top IMO is that he's only played 29 games and the Lakers are 24-5 with him, 11-6 without him.

I think the reserves are pretty close too. Starters=advantage East. Reserves=advantage West. But it's close either way.

Glad to see Rondo start getting some love. I have felt for a while now that he is the most underrated point guard in the league.

That's what I thought too.

Nash vs Iverson is a HUGE mismatch.

Kobe vs Wade, basically a wash.

Melo vs Bron, James is better but Melo is pretty damn good.

Duncan vs KG, before the knee injury, give me KG

Howard is easily better than Amare

2quik, the East have two PG's on their bench that are young and would give Nash a run for his money imo. Rondo and Rose are a lot better than AI right now in their careers.

devils that's why I think the fan voting needs scrapped.

Iverson gets in on fan votes but David Lee gets hosed, no sense at all.

Yes. He has scored similar to this year but he has never rebounded like he is this year. (11.1)

Did I say they were?

You cannot compare AI to anyone, he shouldn't even be there lol.

The voting needs to be changed imo.

AI doesn't deserve to be there and its taking away from players who are truly having good seasons.

Totally wrong. The voting does not need to be changed. This is a game FOR THE FANS. The fans get to vote for who they want to see and they have spoken. I completely agree with you on your stance that Iverson doesn't deserve to be there from a statistics standpoint or whatever. But this game is for the fans and fans only--fans are the only reason they have meaningless All Star games.

Couldn't disagree with you more.

So many guys have Pro Bowl/All-Star incentive clauses in their contracts, and I'd imagine their have been cases where a very deserving player missed out on $$$$ because of retarded voting by the fans. As for the fans wanting to see them, I could honestly care less if I ever see Iverson on the court again. He is a bum who has NO PLACE on the All-Star team.

I disagree.

The All Star game is for the guys who have played at an ALL STAR LEVEL.

If its for the fans have a "Favorite Players" game.

If the fans like a player they are puting asses in seats, all the more reason for a player with less cred to be endearing to the fans. What's the point of putting some tool with good numbers in the game that everyone hates?
