Anyone else use this workout program?
My wife and I started it up this Monday and we are loving the ass kicking we are getting so far. We've both done p90x (me more than her) which we liked but this is more cardio based and the workouts seem to move a lot quicker.

I try to stay away from workouts that have the word 'insanity' in them. Or any other word.

Justin, glad your pleased with it. Your right it is much more cardio based. Your not gonna build as much muscle with this program but you will shred fat and shred it FAST!!! Keep me updated on how it goes!!!

How much tougher is it than Plyo X for example?

How long do the workouts last? I can't do more than 5 minutes, and I need to be able to eat cheeseburgers while exercising as well.
But really... how long do they last?

Workouts are just over a half hour, for the most part. The insanity cardio interval disc that I have kicks Plyo X's ASS!! I do however think P90X is a much better program overall. But as far as just pure cardio, Insanity is the shit.

Do you need anything other than the DVDs? Do I need free weights, treadmill, etc? Or so you basically pop in the DVD and start working out?

I just started P90x this week and have learned a new definition of pain! But I mean that in a good way.

Good to hear bcubed!! It's an amazing program!! I've been doing it for over a year now. It's well worth it.
Bigapple, Just pop the dvd's in and sweat your ass off!! THATS IT!! Nothing required like P90X.

Yeah, the thing I really like about Insanity is that there is nothing required and it takes quite a bit less time to get through the workouts than p90x.

I did p90x twice and I was going to get Insanity a couple of weeks ago, but I decided to sign up for a 5k on Feb. 13, so I decided to focus on running....since I don't run...at all. That's going well so far, but Insanity will be in the works in the semi-near future.

Gonna start this tomorrow, for anyone who has done it, will I still be able to lift at the gym a few days a week too? Or will that just be too much?

I have done P90X 2 times and Try to do Insanity when I have time. The hardest workouts in P90X are Plyometrics and YOGA. Don't lol Yoga is Hell x 2. I train at an MMA school in MMA & Brazilian Jiu-jitsu 4 days a week where we do a lot of conditioning/cardio and goto Lifestyle gym 3 days a week so little time for anything else. But the Insanity workouts are Extremely difficult. Hardest workouts for cardio I have ever done.

??? There are no weights.. no pull up bars with the Insanity workout by Shaun T. It's just you and the floor.

I have downloaded both Insanity and P90x and am waiting to start them once my gym membership ends. I can't justify paying monthly gym dues and then working out at home.

I got through the first 4 weeks and then this whole website situation happened and I got sidetracked. I'll be starting back up on Monday.
