I've heard a couple of different opinions and was just wondering how they determine who plays who?

I believe they'll wait until atleast the Regional Finals are set and then match up geographically.

location,location,location is 90% correct but $,$,$ comes into play also if geography isn't a big factor.

Right, but as much as the OHSAA would love a Mooney/Steubenville D3 final, its just geographically absurd to do the pairings any other way in the semis

I can't see any way it would be anything other than 9 vs 11 and 10 vs 12 in D3

In D3 it will be 9 vs 11 and 10 vs 12.
