So here's the deal, I'm going to be buying a new car within the next couple of months as long as I get orders within the States. I'm torn big time between getting a CRV which I want or a Civic Sedan. I currently have a 2002 Civic EX 2 Door. I can't decide. I'm lucky enough that my step dad works for a Honda dealership and I'll probably get a good deal on either of the vehicles.

So what one should I get? I also even considered at one point the Element and the FIT.

I personally don't like the new Civic's. The new CRV's are great.

I have a 2009 Accord and 2009 CRV. I would choose an Accord, if both are low end models. If you are getting a higher end CRV, then I would go with that. V6, leather, AWD.

Civics suck big time. Go with a Toyota and you'll never be sorry.

Get the CRV. Comparable mpg w/ the 4 cyl. and still plenty of power w/ AWD. We're a two Honda family and just turned Mrs. iref's Pilot after a 3 yr. lease. I'm currently driving an Accord. When it wears out after another 150,000 miles ( lol ) I'm getting a CRV!

I definitely want the CRV it's my first pick. My mom has a 2008 CRV and I liked driving it when I was home. Just hope I can get a good enough deal that I can keep the payments around 350.

Have you even drove a car yet?

Honda has some of the most dependable and longest lasting cars. I would love to pick up a cheap honda to drive around and save gas.

When I bought my last HOnda from Voss in Tipp, I called 2 other deaers and told them what the other wanted to give me and I told them what I wanted for price and payment.......after the first round I went back to Voss and told them I was going down the road to get my car because they were giving me a better deal. I did this 3 times and eventualy I got my deal the way I wanted.

Dont let deaers push you around.
Well I won't have that problem because my stepdad has been a service manager for a honda dealership for 20 years and my grandmother is good friends with the GM. My entire family drives Hondas so they hook us up pretty good.

Did Honda ever get that rear differential problem fixed on the AWD CRV's? Every one I've ever ridden in sounds like the rear axle is going to fall out on the road.

In all seriousness don't buy either. Keep stashing away money until you've got enough to buy it outright.

If Honda's "last forever" there's no reason to get rid of your 2002 Civic. keep driving it until you can afford a new CRV without a loan.

Good Luck!
