not a caption...more of an observation.

Can this guy order lunch at McD's if he's not reading it on a teleprompter.

Forget the nuclear "football"....the guy carrying around the 'prompter have the most important job in the universe.

He's speaking to the media there, not the 6th graders.

He didn't have a teleprompter when talking to the students. Nice try, though.

And, it wasn't a press conference, but an actual speech.

No, i don't think that photo is from that, as it is dated January 19th, 2010.

But, still, the point remains that he wasn't using the teleprompter to speak to 6th graders, and thus the picture isn't funny.

If it's a normal sized classroom, (which it appears to be) then he's not talking to more than 15-20 people total. Thus, while the joke does pale a little, the full bore dual-prompter setup does seem a little overkill.

Fair enough.

I would have even laughed like hell if there was a picture of him sitting indian-style, talking to a group of students who are also sitting indian-style, with teleprompters set up. :D
