First off, NO POLLS on this thread :D I promise.

I went to the circus today, dropped $70, and my wife, daughter and I had a good time. It was great to see my daughter laugh like that and enjoy herself the way she did.

Is this wrong of me? ...

There was a guy doing the wheel thing, where he walks on the outside of this wheel as it goes 60 feet (or more) in the air. The whole time I was watching, my heart was beating pretty hard, as I was afraid he would plummet to his certain death. I was scared for him... I did not want to see him get injured.

Now...

When the chick was in the cage with 6 tigers, I kinda wanted the tigers to flip out on her and maul her. No joke. I don't know why I did, but I did.

Is this wrong?

I think I was rooting more for the tigers, than against her. I think that it just means, psychologically, that I belong in PETA.

In all seriousness, I don't give a shit. I don't know for a fact that no one does. Maybe someone does. And if the chick was fat and/or ugly, it is only natural to want to see her eaten by tigers.

Hell no it's not fucked up. If the animals don't win every once in a while people will stop going to events like that. I mean how lame is it if you always know the humans will win? Christ, just stay home and watch television then. If there is a chance to see a wild animal mauling, I want first row seats even if I have to pay more for them. Thus furthering the recovery from this recession we find ourselves in.

I'll take the tigers -1 if possible.

$70 to see your daughter smile and laugh..money well spent.

Kinda screwed up thinking...but I don't judge. I've probably thought way worse stuff during my lifetime.

As a side note...I don't think I'll ever be able to take my kids to the circus. Clowns freak me out...and I have trouble even looking at them without almost losing my shit.

ernest_t, Sounds like you are afraid of heights? What would you rather do.....The cats in the cage or the wheel???..............Just curious.

Cats.

I am afraid of heights. Add in centrifugal motion, and I'm terrified.

So a high wire act from you is out of the question???? Remember, some "cats" play with their mice a long time before lights out.

Also I heard clowns only get you when your asleep..................

When I was 4-5 years old "1980-1981" we went to the circus in Charleston, WV and a guy was shot out of a cannon then missed the net.

Splat!

Women are like the circus.

They get bigger and better every year.
