NU just scored again. They're up 21-3 with 13.30 left in the 3rd. If they hold on to win it, this will put them 7-4, 4-3 in the Big 10, and in a bowl.newarkcatholicfan wrote: I have had this one on the tv with the sound down. Illinois just made it 21-9 with 10:11 left in the game. Two point try not good.
It will be great to see NW in a bowl game.

I think this would be the first back to back bowl games for NU since 1995-96. They didn't get a bowl game in 2007 despite being eligible, so it'd be nice to get the 7th win and guarantee one this year.

3 missed FGs by NU . . . and Illinois has narrowed it to 21-16 with 4 mins to go. Ouch.

21-16 NU with 2.13 left on the clock. NU has the ball but is facing a 3rd & 7. This is going to come down to the wire.

That was close. I would've called it a catch, but there wasn't enough to overturn the call on the field. But still, nice win for the 'Cats. They go to 7-4, and host Wisconsin next week to close out the season.

I think Northwestern could very well beat Wisky. Fitzgerald is doing some impressive things in Evanston
