It's been a year, what do you think?

I give him a D. He's been basically the worse President in history, fiscally speaking. This administration has been horribly cynical too, it's gotten to the point where it's almost insulting.

I will give him credit for not screwing up Iraq entirely, and Afghanistan isn't a complete disaster, yet. His actions in Pakistan have been good, I've always thought it was best to take the fight to the root of Al-Qaeda, which is in the mountains of Pakistan in my opinion.

B in foreign policy, D in domestic policy, so an overall C.

But, doesn't matter as history shows Presidents comes back from horrible starts (Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton)

I give him a D. He would have got an "F" if his language skills weren't as good as they are. In other words, he talks real nice. Harry Reid agrees with me.

Foreign policy not too bad, domestic issues, terrible. This man needs to be the leader he said he was going to be. I guess he's finding out, like others before him, that it is much easier said than done....even when you theoretically have the votes you need. I give him a C-/D+ over-all. I hope to see some marked improvement soon.

I gave him an F, because while he hasn't been a disaster (yet) in foreign policy, he gets a 0% F for domestic policy, which brings his whole grade down.

I gave him a D because he doesn't have the balls to stand up to his own party and back-up what he said on the campaign trail. If he decided to be fiscally responsible and put America first, he would be the most popular president of all time!

1. I disagree that he has been the worst president fiscally and here is why.

A. His "porkulus/socialist/anti-american/anti-country music bill"...was a spending response to an economic crisis, rooted in accepted economic theories. If you are a pure austrian or laissez-faire guy, or from the Chicago school; you will fundamentally disagree that this was the right action.

But none the less...this was deemed "emergency spending." You may be philosophically opposed to it...but, if you take his words at face value (which few on here do), he's given every indication this is just a response to the financial crisis.

Unless, there is another emergency...which, if it really was the "worst since the great depression" then we've got at least 70 years to go or so.

C. He has given every other indication that he intends to cut the deficit. He says it all the time but people just don't believe him because they believe deep down he's like Karl Marx running around with a Barack Obama Avatar.

D. He has told Congress that the bill they pass for health care cannot project to add to the deficit....He's said it over and over again but you just don't believe it.

Most of you just don't believe this and don't care that the CBO has said the current senate bill will not add to the deficit.

E. He is not philosophically opposed to tax raises...which can be a component to be fiscally responsible....it's like getting a second job when times are tough.

You could also that Bush II's deficit spending on the Iraq War and Afghanistan were emergency type/necessary spending in the same vein as Obama's fiscal "attempted stimulus"...but hopefully Obama's "necessary" spending won't carry on for 7+ years...

I agree, he basically has continued the same Policies of Bush (which he said during the Election were all wrong) the things that he changed were interragation procedures and trying Terrorists in Regular Courts and look what that did with the Christmas Day Underwear bomber fiasco. He got nothing at the Climate summit and the same at the Economic Summit.

So I give him an F for cheating and looking at Bush's paper in Foreign Policy.

I give him an Incomplete on Domestic Policy because nothing significant has passed yet.

I give him an F for Toughness and not standing up to Pelosi and Reid and the Far left.

I give him an D or his Cabinet Selections. Who would have thought Hilary would turn out to be his best choice so far?

I give him an A for breaking the most Campaign Promise's in 1 year.

Overall D-

F. He is no different than the utterly worthless President we had in before.

There is time for improvement but I doubt it. When you continue policies of a failed President you will also fail.

I gave him a D. I voted for him too.

I never thought that Foreign Policy would be what stopped me from giving him an F though.

The only President to accomplish less in his first year in office is William Henry Harrison.

B.

He was dealt a rough hand. He hasn't done much to make things worse, but he hasn't caved in to the radical left wing of the party. Once Obamacare goes through, tough, his grade may plummet.

^^^Ummmm....I'd say his $787 Billion Porkulus Spending Spree qualifies as "making things worse" but that's just me.

Nobel Peace Prize, silly! lol

Domestic policy is terrible: D- ; Congress gets some of the blame for that too

Foreign policy: C ; he's actually being more reasonable here than his campaign promises led me to believe. I think he found out it's easier to make speeches about ending wars and closing Gitmo than it is to actually make an attempt at keeping America safe.
The whole delay with extra troops to Afghanistan brought his grade down here.

D.

He only didn't get an F due to making the "right" decision in Afghanistan even if it was a couple months late and he hasn't completely screwed up Iraq...yet.

D+...I can't really give him a lower grade for failing to do stuff when he hasn't really done anything. However, he is allowing (or perhaps enabling, or simply agrees) the inmates to run the asylum in Congress.

I give him a "C". Most of my beef in Washington right now is with Congress, not Obama. Congress gets an "F".
