Some mocks have him top 3 right now.

I don't think there's any "if" involved now -- he's gone. Given his injury scare and where he's being projected, it would be foolish to stay; and I'm betting even Matta would tell him this.

Top 10 possibly Top 5 but that depends on who comes out etc.

He needs to improve on his perimeter shooting.

www.nbadraft.net has him #4 and moving up. John Wall is #1 as a freshman.

He's a top 4 talent for me along with Wall, Henry, and Aminu.

I'll list a few that I personally would draft in front of Turner:

John Wall
Greg Monroe
Xavier Henry
Cole Aldrich

And I could see some making a case for Turner in front of each one other than Wall. Turner has really impressed me this year, but for some reason I just don't see where he fits in at the next level.

The ONLY 2 players I think are for sure going ahead of Turner are John Wall of Kentucky and Wesley Johnson of Syracuse.

After that I think a handful of guys are all about even:

Evan Turner (OSU)
Al-Farouq Aminu (Wake)
Ed Davis (UNC)
Xavier Henry (Kansas)
DeMarcus Cousins (Kentucky)
Derrick Favors (Georgia Tech)
Greg Monroe (G'Town)
Cole Aldrich (Kansas)
Damion James (Texas)
Avery Bradley (Texas)

Id say he doesnt go top 5, but for sure top 10. A random guess is #7.

Turner needs to improve his outside game, or he won't do shit in the NBA.

He's so good in college cause he can physically beat defenders...can't do that in the NBA.

He needs to improve but he also won't be the main focus on the team while running the point guard spot.

He'll get better looks in the NBA then he gets now.

He remindes me alot of Michael Redd at this point of his carreer. Go make your money son, you can still improve in the NBA.

I don't see his outside game being that big a problem. He can shoot the 3, just doesn't need to very often. His mid-range game is money, and he has a good post game. I think he can be very good as a 2 or 3 man in the NBA. I say he will be a top 5 pick.

I've got a comparison that some might laugh at, Rajon Rondo.

Rondo can't shoot worth a crap and Turner isn't nearly as quick or as good with the ball in his hands. But both are guys that slip under the radar, but at the end of the game are filling up the stat column. Both are long and play bigger than they are.
