Congratulations to hookshot for turning in the best Week 7 sheet, as he got 8 out of 9, missing only the Rossford/Northview game. Seven other huddlers followed close behind with 7. This week should prove interesting as we get closer to the end of our season. The "Big Game" this week has to be Springfield's trip to Bowling Green. If Springfield wins, it really puts Perrysburg in the driver's seat. But then...Maumee almost beat the Jackets when they last met at Maumee. Let the games begin....

--Rogers over Maumee by 27. Rams utilize speed to just run by the Panthers in a laugher.
--Central over Southview by 3. Irish focused mostly on the TCL race, but are attentive enough to edge the Cougars.
--BG over Springfield by 3. Bobcats just good enough to keep the NLL race interesting.
--Southview over Rossford by 9. Who knows? Both these teams very inconsistent this season.
--Northview over AW by 12. Wildcats just a little better than bad. Generals aren't.
--Perrysburg over Maumee by 10. Jackets not rolling over people but beating just about everybody.
--Rossford over Clay by 13. Bulldogs ready for a shootout and Leahy and Kralovic enjoy.

TUESDAY:
**Rogers by 9 over Maumee. Rogers doesn't play all that hard when they don't have to. Against Maumee almost nobody has to.
**Central by 11 over Southview. Depends on which Cougar team shows up, but the Irish are very solid and very well coached.
FRIDAY:
**Bowling Green by 10 over Springfiled. Bobcats at home with a lot at stake. Devils should have won the last time in Holland.
**Southview by 3 over Rossford. Both teams are "Dow Jonesers". Hard to say which team will be up or down Tuesday.
**Northview by 2 over AW. Wildcats fight to stay ahead of Maumee in 6th place in the league. Could tie Rossford for 5th.
**Perrysburg by 15 over Maumee. First game between these two teams was too close.
SATURDAY:
**Rossford by 6 over Clay. Clay has shown occasional signs of playing well but not often. Bulldogs should be good enough regardless.

Toledo Rogers..........If Maumee wins, I would say that Toledo may not be quite as strong as I thought.
Toledo Central Catholic.....Southview may have worn down...They aren't very deep. Irish are tough!
Friday, September 22nd Games
Bowling Green....(**2 Point Game) This makes me nervous. Springfield is playing very well.
Southview..........One last gasp with a victory over Rossford.
Northview..........Another very tough pick. These guys are dead even. Anthony Wayne just doesn't have it this season!
Perrysburg.........I don't think it will be as close this time. It could be ugly.
Saturday, September 23rd Game
Rossford............Clay isn't very good at all but Rossford needs to be careful here!

Ha these predictions are jokes. Maumee getting blown out by 27 to rogers? and then all the the first game with Perrysburg for Maumee was too close. What kind of statement is that. Isnt it possible maumee is improving.
Since Dec. 29
Maumee results
Defiance lost by 2 (9-2)
P-Burg lost by 5 (11-1)
Fremont Ross won by 5 or so (2-9)
Southview lost by 13ish (7-4)
A-W won by 5 (1-10)
Combined record (31-26)
1 bad game out of 5.

Anyway my predictions are...
--Maumee over Rogers by 5 Maumee slows down tempo just as they did against Waite and uses size inside to their advantage for a close home win.
--Central over Southview by 9. Very impressed by Central against St. Johns. If they hold gant/Borcherdt to under 15 apiece they win this one.
--BG over Springfield by 7. BG hits from outside and slows down Mcfadden just enough for the W.
--Southview over Rossford by 5. Leahy has been held to less then 15 last 2 games and if he isn't scoring they cant win.
--Northview over AW by 2. Unless Celusta is hitting like he was sat. I cant see them pulling another one out against Northview.
--Maumee over P-Burg by 1. Maumee wins this one by gettin the ball into contat who has a big game. Last time nobody on Perrysburg could stop anything inside and the panthers utilize the post more in a packed house.
--Rossford over Clay by 15...Leahy breaks out of his slump in this one with more then 18 points. Nobody on clay will be able to stop him.

Well Maumee did exactly what i anticipated and contat went off for about 15. BUT maumee still loses by 5, 60-55. #32 for P-burg stepped up big and had about 18 points whiles hughs got around 15. Rest of the team struggled for the most part.

Hughes had 22. Maumee plays a lot of teams tough but just can't get wins but hardly ever quite enough to win.
