Apparently the tax stimulus is over.
My first pay for this year had the federal tax increase $8.00.
Not that it matters much but still. Eight bucks is eight bucks.

Cry me a river. I pay Ad Valorem in January. Some of the wells run negative for the month and I probably won't have any money coming in until Feb.
(just kidding on the cry me a river part, I know it sucks)

If the government did something about malpractice lawsuits it wouldn't save you any money. The doctors would simply pay less in insurance and keep the rest. They wouldn't lower the rates. Besides, if you want that much government control in health care you might as well support socialized medicine. That would eliminate malpractice suits all together.bases_loaded wrote: I used my health insurance 0 times last year and my rates went up! Since we currently have a free market medical system. I imagine doctors would lower rates to as low as they can to compete with the next guy. How does socialized medicine eliminate malpractice suits? If anything it will increase them because the best doctors won't want to work where they aren't rewarded for being the best.krambman wrote:If the government did something about malpractice lawsuits it wouldn't save you any money.
