Apparently the tax stimulus is over.

My first pay for this year had the federal tax increase $8.00.

Not that it matters much but still. Eight bucks is eight bucks.

Cry me a river. I pay Ad Valorem in January. Some of the wells run negative for the month and I probably won't have any money coming in until Feb.

(just kidding on the cry me a river part, I know it sucks)

I used my health insurance 0 times last year and my rates went up! Woo less money thanks to the Federal government once again!(it is my belief that if the government would do something about malpractice lawsuits, doctors insurance rates wouldn't be so high -->doctors rates would be lower ---->health care would cost less ---> my insurance would cost less)

I paid $62,000 in income taxes last year. I'm fucked this year if they went up.

But j_crazy it is your job, because you have made yourself successful, to pay for those who are too lazy to get off their asses. It is your "patriotic duty" to pay more! more more more

If the government did something about malpractice lawsuits it wouldn't save you any money. The doctors would simply pay less in insurance and keep the rest. They wouldn't lower the rates. Besides, if you want that much government control in health care you might as well support socialized medicine. That would eliminate malpractice suits all together.

Since we currently have a free market medical system. I imagine doctors would lower rates to as low as they can to compete with the next guy. How does socialized medicine eliminate malpractice suits? If anything it will increase them because the best doctors won't want to work where they aren't rewarded for being the best.

My first paycheck of 2010 was bigger than my last paycheck of 2009. I'm not sure why until I go home to compare them.

They are withholding more. You could be in a bad way. I feel bad for posting about a measly $8.00.

My dividend stream caused me to have to pay over $100,000 in taxes this year, so I don't want to hear any of you CLOWNS complaining.
