Thoughts on this game?

It should be a good one, but I am not sure what to think. Revis should take Jackson out of the mix but Rivers have a lot of other weapons that could possibly hurt the Jets. Chargers are apparently pretty bad at stopping the run up the middle so hopefully the Jets can play keep away and control the clock.

I think the Chargers will win in a close one but I hope I am wrong.

I think one of the top teams will get upset.

Both the Ravens and Jets are together and have the right road mentality. I see one of them crashing the party and being in the AFC Championship.

I can't see Manning being knocked out Saturday night. They get by.

Chargers choke and Ryan and the Jets in their road uniforms celebrate on the field to a stunned crowd in San Diego. I can picture that.

^Hope you are right. I think I am going to try and get tickets and a flight out for this game. I've never been to San Diego before and this is as good as a reason as any to go.

Chargers were only 20th in rush defense.

You need to be a lot better than that to stop Shonn Greene right now.

The Chargers have mostly been about Rivers being on fire and putting the ball right on the money downfield. But the Jets are No. 1 in pass defense.

IF the JETS play it like they did vs Cincy 60% of the time....but do it 80% of the time...they can beat the Chargers. They'll not be able to sit on it this game at all and win IMO.

The Bengals did have a lot of guys open in the passing game underneath.

They're going to have to force field goals and keep the score down.

Jets will keep it close with there D but SD has to many weapons offensivley to shut down like NY did to Cincy I got the SuperChargers by 11 27-16

If the Chargers wear the powder blues, they win. If not, I like the J-E-T-S, jets, jets, jets.

kind of depends on the Dallas/Minnesota game

if Dallas pulls the upset, I think San Diego wins

if Minnesota wins, San Diego is in trouble with all three home teams winning

I think the Chargers are more talented and overall just better.......but I still won't believe in Norv Turner when it counts. Chargers may very well win, and they may win by 20.....but the Jets have a better chance of beating the Colts

If Mangold lines up at WR the Chargers have no shot at winning. Revis couldn't even contain Mangold today in practice.

That brings me to an interesting question....

Why is Mangold not playing on both offense and defense? If he was playing....say linebacker, the Jets>72 Dolphins.

Agreed. Mangold playing both sides of the ball would make this team unbeatable.

I don't think San Diego will beat Indy three years in a row.

Jets probably won't either with a rookie in the championship game but I still think they'd have a better shot than the Chargers who flat out won't do it three years in a row.

So go Jets.

Jets need to favor Shonn Greene.

With Thomas Jones healthier than last week there might be an urge to use him too much.

Greene is taking his game to the next level right now and they need to ride that.

Home teams have had their way so far in the Divisional Round.

Can Mark Sanchez and the Jets pull off a shocker in San Diego?

Philip Rivers and the Chargers are red hot, winning 11 in a row. But will they come up short, again, in the playoffs?

San Diego off to the perfect start to get upset

first drive started well and a bad snap ruined it

then the drive stalls near the red zone and Kaeding shanks a chip shot

Why San Diego runs it...when they can throw it like that is mind boggling.
