So, the White House announced that the State of the Union Address will not be on February 2nd, the night the final season of Lost premiers.

Thank God lol. As a Lost fan, I would have been really ticked if the addressed had screwed with Lost. I support the President, but I've waited many months for the last season of Lost.

Looks like the White House got one thing right lol.

Still, I find the whole thing pretty funny.

Really does make sense, why screw the networks out of major advertising revenue when we're trying to encourage spending of that type?

Hopefully they move it to a day with no major television events during the time frame.

I don't watch much television so I could care less about Lost and even less about the exact timing of BHO's Misstate of the Union speech.

But when he does, I'll tune in just to watch Nancy "The Court Jester" Pelosi jump to her feet a couple of dozen times to applaud the Anointed One's every utterance in near-orgasmic fashion.

I could use a good laugh.

I am sure Obama can find things to say that will bring the crowd to its feet, marking one full year in office. What I don't know....

Ugh, thanks for the reminder. Now, I think I'll read the transcript, cause damn will there be a lot of applause.

^^^Hey leave me out of this. I was simply pointing out to Mr. 300 who might have an interest in listening to the most transparent president in American history.

State of the Union is a big deal and should be listened to no matter if you approve of the person in office or not.

^^^Not to worry.

I'll tune in and listen to BHO's teleprompter hyperbole and the announcement of his next major spending spree project.

The Dem love-fest will be a tad hard to swallow though, but November will be here before we know it.

Ha, how is the State of the Union important? There is no way I'm going to listen to Obama lie directly to the American public with Pelosi/Reid leading the Democrats cheering after ever word.

I'm sure you felt the same about lying that was done by past administrations.

I haven't ever watched a State of the Union address and I don't ever plan too. I think any and ALL politicians are lairs.

Yes, Bush and Clinton, but at least they didn't overspend us into the ground. I just want to here the word "transparent" one time in his speech.
