I can't take this poll seriously considering it's missing names like Nas, Rakim, LL Cool J, Scarface, and the aforementioned Jay-Z, yet it includes Lil Wayne.

But I did pick 2pac, b/c I think he is the greatest of all time. He was my favorite growing up, so that is what I base my decision on.

Only two modern rappers I could stand listening to were Eminem and Nas. Since Nas isn't on the list had to go with Em. I like Tupac, but never really listened to enough of him to get into it. He was bigger a little bit before my time.

I like Jay-z's shit.. I liked it even more when Biggie did it first though.

This.

Also, this poll is bullshit as Nas isn't listed.

+2

Seriously, no NaS?

Even so, some of the modern hip-hop, including Kid Cudi, Wale, and a few others, is definitely revitalizing the genre..

Most of you young bucks and 90's rap guys missed the good stuff.
Are you serious? 1993 was one of the best years ever for Hip-Hop albums and the artists who broke through that year were some of the best of all-time.

Please. There are so many rappers out there who bite lines. Jay and B.I.G. were boys and come from basically the same place. Similar subject matter but Jay put his personal stamp on his shit just like Biggie did.

If by "swagger jacker" you mean "one of the best rappers of all-time"....I agree with you.
