I really think that Boise will get their shot next year. I would love to see an "at large" team get a shot.

Oregon returns about 18 starters right? They too can be dangerous!

Don't underestimate Cincinnati for next year. This year they had a very young defense that is going to have a year of experience next season. And Cincy won't lose anything in the QB position. Collaros will be as good if not better than Pike.

Bama

Oklahoma

USC may not be preseason ranked, I guarantee they will be unranked when the season is over.

Why is Oklahoma getting such love? What are they bringing back that makes them so high?

Alabama
Ohio State
Boise St
Virginia Tech
Oregon

USC may be losing Petey C and McKnight...
Florida is losing Tim Tebow and who knows what Urban is doing...
Cincy? lol
Texas could be a top 5 team by mid season. They're losing Colt, but Garret looks to be the next great Texas QB...

I think the top 4 is pretty clear:

Alabama
OSU
Boise St.
Oregon

You can take your pick of about 6 teams that could be 5th.

I dont follow them that much, but i think they have a good bit of starters back next season. I know for sure that QB was only a fresh or sophomore. It seemed about all the games they lost last year were close, plus they beat a hot stanford team in their bowl game.

I say they win the big 12.

Any word on Nebraska next year? I've heard many say they're an early favorite for the Big XII title but I don't know anything about them.

Don't think Nebraska goes up to #4 w/o Suh...

Bama
Ohio State
Boise
Iowa
Oregon(because of the 18 starters)

According to ESPN they lose 1 player on offense, the center.

Lose 5 players on defense but have 4 or 5 guys waiting to step in that all started at one point in the season. The Pelini's are defensive masterminds. Bo claimed in an interview prior to the bowl game that their defense will be better than this year and they will be 5x better as a team. Losing Suh hurts but they have that 5* DT Baker Steinkuhler that will be a Soph next year. The kid is a beast and yes, that is Dean Steinkuhler's son. All-American and NFL Lineman from the 70's.

I would say Nebraska is going to be in the thick of things next year. The Big XII is going to be rather weak (shocker) so they should have a pretty easy time getting to the Big XII Championship game. It's good to see the Huskers back.
