Sucks, he got hurt at the wrong time and Barkley ran with it. Best of luck to the kid.

interesting note from that article:
Mustain, the Arkansas transfer with one season of eligibility left, has said he won’t transfer, but he might explore entering the NFL draft.
Did I miss something? What has he done to warrant an NFL career at all?

This. If you don't play in college, how can you say you're worthy to play @ the next level?

I actually thought Mustain was pretty good as a freshman at Arkansas. And I don't know his situation, but maybe he already graduated and is just going to move on. The next step would be entering the draft and who knows what will happen. He either gets a shot or doesn't.

Has he done any less than Matt Cassel dd while he was at USC?

But how can you expect to be drafted when you haven't played a down(at least a meaningful down) since your Freshman year? Stay, get another year under your belt, get your graduate degree and THEN try for the NFL. if it doesn't work out you've got a master's degree and something to fall back on

true, but we didn't hear about Cassel until years after he graduated, oddly after he succeeded in the pros.

Mustain's reputation (to me at least) is a bit of a primadonna, and a crybaby.

Probably a good decision for Corp. He could play a year at Richmond and if all goes well he can transfer back to D1 after next season.

Mustain needs to either transfer or stay. That entering the NFL draft business makes me laugh. I used to think he was going to be a great QB when he was at Arkansas but then Houston Nutt started playing that Casey Dick or whatever name was, even though Mustain was undefeated as a starter

Corp could transfer to a D1 right now if he wanted. He doesn't want to sit a year.

I really don't have a problem with the Mustain situation. I personally don't like him from the things I've heard about him, but if he's graduated and doesn't want to be Barkley's backup for another year and try his hand at the pros, then more power to him.

Well yeah... I was just saying that if he went to Richmond he could play right away and not have to sit out a year and then could come back to D1 if he wanted
