Cody, McClain, Arenas, Anders, Reamer, Washington, Deaderick, Jackson and Woodall. All starters, all gone.
Losing the quality blocking of Peek at TE, and their exceptional guard Mike Johnson makes it harder for the offense, although the offense will still produce.

I doubt it highly. They have a chance but it is hard to repeat, they will have a target on them.
Not sure who is the favorite next year but I'm going to say no, someone else will win it. Should be a crazy year with a lot of young players and QBs looking to step up, and a few QBs with some experience looking to step up.

They will have to beat Florida twice to do it.
Oct. 2, 2010 . Florida at Bama
probably a rematch in Atlanta again.

I thought Florida would repeat with almost their entire 2 deep back, but they obviously didn't. I mean a play here or there(block field goal against Tennessee, fail to convert last drive against Auburn) and they are not even in the game tonight. I think they will be a favorite, but repeating is so much more difficult because everybody is gunning for you.

They just asked Ingram if he feels Bama has supplanted Florida as the power in the SEC. He said 'I don't know, that was our main goal this year, to beat Florida. They are a great team. We beat them, and won the National Championship, so we're on top right now.'

The SEC is dominating recruiting, and 3 different SEC teams have 4 National Titles in a row.

I think they'll have a shot, but don't expect them to win it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Florida fails to win the SEC East. The rest of the teams in the division are really improving of late. But yeah, as of now Florida is the clear favorite.

I don't think they will...Total homer pick but I think next year is the Buckeyes year. Don't sleep in Wisconsin either.

Not trying to be a homer either, because I didn't think they would win it this year or last, but I really feel the Buckeyes are among 3 or 4 legit title contenders going into next year...
Obviously Bama is right there, a long with USC...

I think the struggle to run the ball at times like they could this year with some losses on the offensive line. That and with some key cogs missing on defense it'll be tough to repeat.
They will find out how good they are against Penn State in Week 2. The Nittanies will find out how much work they have to do as well

Alabama's new players will be very good. Teams like Alabama don't have to worry about lack of players. If you advertise, players will come. Quality players. A lot of them. Alabama may not repeat, but I would say that their chances are as good as anyone's. I would think that a National Championship, a good coach and pretty good weather will attract some very gifted football players.

The odds are stacked against them, but they are one of about a half dozen teams who should be in the running next season. (Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, maybe LSU, and yes folks USC will be back in the mix.) Boise and TCU will be left out just like this year because they probably won't be undefeated and unless they are they have 0% chance.
