Any gin drinkers here........ (I know we are a dying breed). If so, what are you favorites, from your regular, go-to gin and tonic, to your splurge gin for a martini.
I run from New Amsterdam on the low end to Beefeater and Tanqueray for gin and tonics; then I prefer to move up to my favorite stuff for 'up martinis, dry, with olives', like Hendricks, Boodles, and Aviation. Have a bottle of Nolet's also, very distinct and highly rated although not my fav.
What say you all?

It took me a while to warm up to it, but I like gin. I don't drink it often, but keep a bottle of Beefeater around for making the occasional gin and tonic.

I like a good gin and tonic with extra lime, also gimlets and tom collins' are a tasty treat.

I️ like a gin and tonic. I️ don’t drink them often enough to have a preference on the brand. Beefeater and Bombay are the two I’ve had most frequently.

I drink gin straight.
My favorite is Tanqueray, but I also like the cheaper Seagrams.
Also, I like IPA's because of the "piney" taste of gin.

Hey, here is something I agree with QO on.
I like gin. It took me some years to warm up to it, but I love a straight up gin martini.
Mainstream wise, I go with Beefeaters, but I usually go with a local one. Right now, I have a bottle from a distiller in Fredrick, MD called McClintock, called their Forager Gin. I like it a lot as it is smooth and not overbearing.

See Quaker...we aren't all that different after all. My wife's family all were skeptical but I've now got them all on the "Gin Train" as we call it.
Wednesday night when I get to Tennessee for Thanksgiving I'll have Hendrick's and Tonic. Start thanksgiving morning with a GinMonster (Gin + Monster Energy Drink) then move into Gin + Grapefruit.
With Thanksgiving Dinner we have Gin & cucumber martinis.
Mostly just go with Gin and tonic though. Please share some other options that you like.

Will check in to these..........I am lacking on the 'micro gin makers'. I know there are a few in Columbus and Cleveland: Watershed in Cbus and 7 Brothers in Cle. etc....

Is the "Gin Train" sort of the like the Trump Train?
That is a lot of gin in one day, Thanksgiving.
Regarding Hendricks and Boodles and other great gins, I don't usually like to dilute them with tonic ........prefer a dry martini (literally three drops of vermouth), UP, with 2 large green olives.

I have a nice gin, cucumber lemonade recipe. It's nice for warm weather gatherings. I usually use Beefeater. That's as far as my gin consumption goes.

I usually go 2.5-3 ounces of gin and about 1 ounce of dry vermouth. I may add just a little lemon peel or juice.
It is normally my go to Friday evening cocktail to end a work week.

I did try a new gin drink this summer ......... chopped some rhubarb from my backyard patch, simmered it up w sugar, and made rhubarb syrup; added maybe half an ounce of this syrup (not in to too much sweetness) to several ounces of gin, ice, lime wedge, and a splash of tonic. Drink has a nice pink hue and is pretty refreshing on a hot evening.
