Wow.

Nice thread.

I love shopping at RKO.

Good deals on guns, ammo, coffee, tools, and a lot of other cool shit.

Just Google RKO

Black Friday is for poor people. Somebody had to say it with Sleeper gone.

We're going to buy an iPad. What's the best online deal over the next week or two (that you guys have seen), so I don't have to go out amongst the crazies?

Don't even care the brand or the specs...that size for that price is crazy.

Agreed :)

Seriously though, the last thing I would do is partake in black Friday shopping. I will still be celebrating Thanksgiving and being thankful for the non-material things that mean the most.

Looking for an AR upper, and maybe an ipad/ kindle fire for a monitor. Problem is that Kindle fire's apps are garbage. I follow slickdeals on twitter and they usually post some good stuff.

Looking to add another Echo for around $50. I'm sure somewhere will have them for that cheap.

I actually agree. Waiting in line for hours to get a cheap DVD player for $18 sounds like hell to me.

I've actually never done the in-person Black Friday thing. I'm more into Cyber Monday.

That's why I'm hoping I can find an iPad online for the same price as the advertised BF price at WM. Reg $329, Sale $249.

Generally, I disagree. Not that I don't think it's for poor people, but also, I think it's for shrewd people.

However, I don't think any product for purchase is worth the mayhem, and I have to question the "why" behind needing to get a product so badly that you'd endure the madness.

Precisely.

Off topic some but with the smart tv how does it work with apps from your phone...YouTube and such? Is it controlled from your phone or am I️ a mile off.

Used to get YouTube off the Wii but it’s no longer available

To my knowledge you'll need a device to mirror your phone, i.e. Apple TV, Chromecast, etc.

I have a Samsung smart TV. I have to use the YouTube browser app on the TV. With Apple TV I can Airplay directly from my phone or MacBook.

I have a Samsung smart TV. I use it as a computer monitor (the one I'm using now, actually) because IDGAF about most entertainment, and what I do care about, I get on the web.

I did it once. I'm generally chill to a "does this person actually feel emotions?" level, but that experience had me on the verge of throwing down. So, I decided it'd be wise to not partake in such things ever again.

I never go out on Black Friday before the afternoon, it typically slows down a lot by then. I try to do all of my shopping online, but I don't mind going out if the deal is significantly better in person. We adopted two young kids for Christmas this year so I'll probably search around for some deals that would work for their gifts. There are a few things I've got my eye on for myself, hopefully I can score at least one good deal this year.

Im assuming he means adopted like an Angel Tree or similar. It's basically just buying toy(s) for the less fortunate.

I think it means they are buying gifts for them and what not.
