It's interesting to go back and read my hate for Jabril Peppers, lol. Hit it right on the head, SMH. Also, damn forgot how much I loved Budda Baker, time will tell on that one. I know the Cards are wanting to see him play more, but not a good sign that he's not playing that much. Could be a Njoku situation though, coach is a dipshit.

Eddie Jackson and Baker plus Conley, Garrett would be a nice defensive building block tho. If I could re do it, I'd prob take Mahomes, even over Watson. Don't @ me.

Peppers has played a ton, and I've watched him a lot. My concerns about lack of FBI/instincts/position are all true so far.

The Cardinals use three safeties a majority of the time on defense, but with Tyrann Mathieu, Tyvon Branch and Antoine Bethea are seeing PT. I've only watched one Cardinals game, but Honey Badger didn't look the same to me. Cardinals are trying to play for the this season (see AP) and thus Baker is the odd man out. Very similar to what we're seeing with Njoku. I dont think anyone is ready to write him off yet, even tho Genius OC Hue is only letting him see the field for 30% of our snaps. I agree that I probably over drafted baker in our mock, but I still love his skill set.

I'm not dooming Peppers career, but so far he is not playing like a 1st rounder and needs to improve dramatically to earn his draft spot.

Mixed bag on my picks so far. Reuben Foster has looked good when healthy, but that's not been the case for much of this year. Knew Sidney Jones wouldn't play much right away. Elflein has been very good for a rookie in Minnesota, and Taywan Taylor has contributed in Tennessee, but not been anything special. Better than John Ross though.

Dede Westbrook was unstoppable in the preseason as well (I know, I know, it's preseason). He's coming back this week I think, and has a chance to make an immediate impact for the Jaguars.
