I decided to run for a cup of coffee and as I was getting closer to an intersection I heard a guy yelling and saw him banging on the drivers door of a car. I initially thought the driver almost hit him and he was pissed off. Turns out the guy OD at the traffic light and then started to slowly creep through the intersection. The guy wasn't able to open the door or wake the guy up and he slowly rolled in to the back of a BMW parked on the street through the intersection. He had a syringe in the passenger side seat. Luckily he was moving slowly or it could have been a lot worse for the BMW or any pedestrians that might have been in his way.

That's insane.

Most people who are insulin dependent don't use syringes while driving as they can usually tell when their sugar is going to give them problems and they'd pull over lol

yea the newspaper the next day ran a report that I was the one that OD on heroin instead of mentioning that I helped the guy. My boss called me at 6am to find out if I was in jail.

Was it the principal or the super wanting to know if they needed to get a substitute?

Do you really need a substitute for gym class? I’m sure the janitor could step in.

I guess I'm not understanding the logistics of how you OD in the car - are these folks actually shooting up while they're moving? I could understand if you were parked - but why wait until you're in the car? Or does it take 10 or 15 minutes after they've shot up to pass out, and they think they're going to get home in time?

You see all these pics of couples passed out in the front seat with their kid in the back. I couldn't figure out why you had to be in the car, I thought most people did it at home, or on a dark street corner or alley way.

Seems like nowhere is off limits anymore. People have OD at the McDonalds and new library in downtown Dayton.

They're drug addicts. Common sense doesn't really have a place in their lives.

people overdose in their cars because they use their vehicles to go buy drugs and then as soon as they get back to their car they shoot up

This seems to be the most plausible explanation.

Clearly, an intervention is needed here.
