I know anything can happen. But their bullpen top 4 hasn't given up a run in like a month. Any of them. Recipe to beating them is get a lead so they can't pitch...kinda like Tribe. This game is definitely over.

Yes, cause Girardi is an idiot, and isn't using his 4 relievers I was mentioning. Why Robertson wasn't in there for CC is kinda mind boggling, but I'll take it. Unfortunately, 8-7 (or more for Yanks) will be your final, cause now he is into that Pen (Khanle, Robertson, Betances, Chapman).

I've said before how Jay Bruce can be the next Paul O'neill. He'll never win a batting title but the LH right fielder played a good while with the Reds...was good, not great and horribly streaky. Now all of a sudden playing for a GREAT manager and now has a good plate approach....he's never had a good approach.

He just took two nasty sliders and then mashed a HR oppo. Guys, I've seen 3,000 Jay Bruce at bats....that was the best I've ever seen him look.

That was a stellar at bat. Smoltz kind of foreshadowed it after Bruce took those pitches. Said it would change their approach since he was laying off. Pitch to hit. Home run.
