Massillons long history has given us some unforgettable characters.
Paul Brown one of the greatest coaches ever and by far the greatest innovator.
Harry Stuhldreher a former Massillon QB who went on to become a great ND QB....Why is that "unforgettable" you ask? Because Harry is ¼ of what is known as "The Four Horsemen of Notre Dame."
Chris Spielman....The first High School athlete to be put on the Wheaties box EVER.
I will be periodically adding more unforgettable characters and performances occasionally as the season progresses.
Let's hear of some from your school.
Bundy....Any Erick Howard stories? Lol.
Seriously though, let's hear some.

Many of Brown's innovations became mainstream. Everyone uses things such as film study and classroom teaching of football.chiefy jones;1874058 wrote:Massillons long history has given us some unforgettable characters.

The innovation continues at Massillon today. Some people get upset with us over using combines and parent involvement coordinators to bring in players. These tools are simply innovation.

Hmm....Remember when I asked you to name one kid that has ever played for, or attended MWHS due to the combine and you couldn't do it?
I really thought that shamed you into dropping it, but apparently you are unable to be embarrassed by your own stupidity.
Oh....And Massillon is not the first school to have a PIC so how is that being innovative?
I really am sorry for making you look stupid but, you bring it on yourself.
How'd your Vikings do last night?

I posted a link to a kid that we signed after he attended the combine. If you look at the high schools that combine participants attended the following year, Washington had more than any other high school. The combine has been a great innovation, and it is very successful. We look unbeatable right now, and our program would not be at this level without the talent aquired via the combine.chiefy jones;1874114 wrote:Hmm....Remember when I asked you to name one kid that has ever played for, or attended MWHS due to the combine and you couldn't do it?

And I shot that link down very quickly.
Also, Massillon probably did have more attend their school, the Nike combine is held in Massillon.
You're either terribly stupid or a academy award winning actor.

I know the combine is held in Massillon, and we get the most kids from it. That is why we have the combine.chiefy jones;1874134 wrote:And I shot that link down very quickly.

Al, a list of kids Massillon acquired via the combine sure would strengthen your argument. Please list them below.

It's plain to see that Weird Al Bundy and superwoman are of the same ilk. I've begged Superwoman to post the PM that I sent him, but he won't do it because it will confirm him as a liar....I've asked Weird Al Bundy to make a list of kids Massillon has acquired via the Nike combine and he won't do it because....Well....He can't because there aren't any, yet both of these tools will continue with these fabricated stories.

Five days....And nothing? No response? No list of kids for us all to see? No damning evidence to support your claim?chiefy jones;1874197 wrote:Al, a list of kids Massillon acquired via the combine sure would strengthen your argument. Please list them below.
Hmm....For a guy who makes wild claims, you sure did get quiet.

In post #5, you said that we got more kids from the combine than other schools did. Over 1400 came to the combine because they were exploring their opinions for the next season. Basically, they were all free agents. We did a great job of putting the combine together to help us aquire great talent. We are currently the favourite to win the state title. That doesn't happen without the combine. I am very proud of the innovation we have shown at Massillon. We are always three steps ahead of the rest of the world.

Sorry, I should have realized I was talking to you, and I should have dumbed down my post for that very reason. You said that Massillon has more kids attend the combine than any other school, and I said of course they do, the combine is held in Massillon.
Now, as for the rest of your post....You constantly dance around the subject. You posted ALL that in post #12 but....No names....You provide no names....If we have all these kids from the Nike combine held at PBTS....I was expecting a long list of kids from you....But you can't even name one.

While we're (STILL) waiting on the list of kids Massillon obtained through the Nike combine, maybe Weird Al will regale us with a North Canton Hoover story.
Al?

My little, tiny school has but one.
Larry Kolic, the 1985 Citrus Bowl MVP, who played linebacker for Ohio State for a few years and then spent three seasons in the NFL after being drafted in the 7th round (193rd overall) by the Dolphins.
