Tigers have dealt Verlander to the Astros for 3 prospects. Good for this series...bad for the playoffs.

Call me greedy but I want the sweep. I know the chances of a sweep may not be perfect but the Kitties are sh#tty and treading water.

Will Mejia be strictly catching? I'd heard they wanted to send him to the Fall League to work on 3rd base so they could get his stick in the lineup.
