My wife and four other workers now have new offices. The renovation project converted a large large room in to six offices good size and nice space the brain child of the company committee department managers, vp and president. "assholes, idiot and clueless" .Good idea but poor execution. Lack of construction knowledge, mechanicals of heating /air conditioning, electrical and network cabling ...and being cheap. They now have a problem:
The thermostat control is in one office "Fatass New Department Boss".
As my wife explains the situation is get so cold in the offices she requesting the company to provide flannel bras to prevent nippletipitis.
She took in a space heater. The others have also complained over the past week but with no solution. Fat Boss does care nor does he want to address the situation. Why .. He and his committee was to over see the project and approve the plans. The contractor made money on this deal.

what to do?

Yesterday she was told that the space heater was causing the problem. That did not go over well. One Short fat boss almost when home with a cord sticking out of his ass.
She brought the heater home. The wife is giving this issue one more week to correct or else.....

My solution other than crush his thumbs ..... Is to disconnect his thermostat from those five offices and reconnecting it to control the presidents office, secretary and copy room. Recconnect the hallway thermostat to control the temps in my wife office area offices. Nobody would know until they bring in a heating specialist to inspect the mechanical.

Tell your stupid wife to shut up and put another layer on. You can always add another layer but can only take so many off.

That your solution. So one fat sweaty guy change the whole work environment and nothing should be done or taken care of.
Layer clothing in the summer and more layers in the winter.....yep the perfect solution

Agree 100%. I bet she will probably bitch when it's too warm, also...Or if someone loads the toilet paper under instead of over. Does the water cooler temps need adjusted too? What about the color of the carpet?

FFS, get back to being productive, or go home and be reproductive!

I hate working in a super cold office, but it is what it is. I wore sweatshirts and had a space heater.

Huh, working in an office that tends to have at least a couple middle-aged women who have far different ideas as to what temperature is comfortable than I do, this thread is a revelation. Instead of simply realizing that life doesn't always cater to me and wearing clothes that fit the in-office temperature, I should have just whined incessantly until I got my way because the world needs to revolve around me and what I want.

Good to know.
