Your program has been irrelevant for 20 years, no one outside your state talks about Tennessee football except when reading a story about Peyton Manning. Outside of him, the most important thing about your program is the Volunteer Navy. That's kind of a cool tradition - take a boat down the river, tie up and tailgate and then go watch the Vols get wood shedded by Vanderbilt.

It just seems like it'd be healthier for you to get a handle on reality. Instead of looking toward Columbus or Tuscaloosa for benchmarking, you should be looking at Oxford, MS, Iowa City, Boulder or Syracuse for your appropriate comparisons.

Sorry to bother you with this. But it is hard watching you ignorantly embarrassing yourself by acting as though you are something you are not. There is no reason to think you cannot be happy as a second tier program. Just ask Virginia. They are happy with their lot and have a lot of fun at their games.

Now, the Vols might be onto something that's more their level, going after Brohm from Purdue. A coach that, in one year, has taken a mediocre program turned horrible and elevated it back up to sweet, sweet mediocrity.
