MLB Network was breaking down Lindor at the plate this year. Last year he was hitting fly balls 29% of his AB....this year a tad too much of the increase launch angle and he's hitting fly balls 40% of his at bats....also showed video of his follow through being way higher than most of last year

Series clinched. going for the sweep tomorrow. Have won 3 out of their last four series going into the all-star break.
The key to this game was Clevinger out dueling Verlander.

Kipnis is hurting again. This time it's a hamstring. So far this year It has been a rotator cuff a stiff neck and now a hamstring. Kip is 30 years old now and his batting average this year is .232.
Déjà vu… Carlos Baerga?

Well Ramirez can play 2nd if Yandy is ready for 3rd, but it doesn't seem like he is since they called up Urshela

I think Carlos' extra-curricular activities played a factor in his frequent "ailments". Kipnis seems to be genuinely deteriorating...and quickly.HitsRus;1861801 wrote:Kipnis is hurting again. Gonzalez has been having a solid year as a utility guy. I don't mind him getting some every day at bats. Not really sold on GioIronman92;1861816 wrote:You guys have a good backup/replacement?

On another note, former Tribesman John McDonald is sitting in for Hammy tonight.
IMO, he is a young Rosenhaus.
Go Tribe.

Tribe has a tough time scoring runs for Klubot--he should have at least 2 more wins this half.

Can't say I've been overly impressed with Brad Mills managing the team.
